Build a Navigation Structure

FrontPage 2002/2003

Building a Navigation Structure will enable to you insert Link Bars that are based on your structure. It will also help you to have a visual picture of the organization of your site.

  1. Switch to Navigation View.
  2. If the Folder List is not showing, go to View > Folder List to open it.
  3. Click one of the files in your Folder List and drag it into the right pane. You may drag it under an existing page to make it a Child Page, or drag it to the right or left of the existing page to put it on the same level. In the diagram below, we dragged the "Getting Started" page underneath the home page.


     
  4. You may continue to build your Navigation Structure until all your desired pages are added.


     
  5. If you try to add a page to your structure that already exists in the structure, your cursor will turn into a "no" symbol:
