Stretch a Cell Across Rows or Columns (Merging Cells)
Command: Table > Merge Cells
FrontPage 2002/2003
- Select a group of cells
that are touching. In this example, we want the top row of
cells to be combined into one row.

- Right-click and choose Merge Cells, or go to Table >
Merge Cells.

If you view the Cell Properties,
you'll notice that the Rows Spanned or Columns Spanned has
changed to reflect the number of rows or columns spanned.
