Open Your Web Site Live Off the Server

FrontPage 2002/2003

You can open your web site "live" off the server if your server has FrontPage extensions.

  1. Go to File > Open Web (FP2002) or File > Open Site (FP2003).
  2. Type in the URL of your web site (http://www.yoursite.com).
  3. Click Open.
  4. You may need to type in your username and password.
  5. FrontPage will open your web site off your server. Any changes that you make to the pages will directly affect the files on your server and show up "live."
