Attaching DWTs
Command: Format > Dynamic Web Template > Attach Dynamic Web
Template
The Attach Dynamic Web Template command allows you to apply
the DWT's layout design to your web page. Your web page will
then contain the layout elements of the DWT, with your original
page content within the Editable
Regions. It may be advisable to prep your web page before
attaching your DWT if your original page contains layout
elements that are different from the DWT's design.
Attaching a DWT to a page allows the underlying design
elements of that page to be changed by modifying the related DWT.
In fact, all pages that have that particular DWT attached will
be updated, as well, allowing you to have "shared layout"
between pages.
